MANUFACTURING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, INC RECEIVES HIGHEST RECOGNITION BY SAGE NORTH AMERICA

MISys selected as Endorsed/OEM Partner of the Year for Sage Peachtree and receives Gold Developer Certification with Sage ERP Accpac.

Woodstock, VT [August 1, 2011] The President and CEO of Woodstock, VT based Manufacturing Information Systems, Inc. (MISys) announced today that the company had been awarded the highest recognition for third party developers by Sage, a global provider of accounting software based in the UK.

“We are pleased to be recognized by Sage for the continued work we have done to provide more value to their products,” said Dave Brown, President and CEO of MISys. “The MISys Manufacturing software we develop provides an industrial-strength solution for the accounting packages that Sage provides to small and medium-sized enterprises. We have had great mutual success through the bundling of our software with Sage Peachtree Quantum over the past two years, marketed as Peachtree Quantum Manufacturing Edition. And our relationship with Accpac goes back 25+ years. We received the Gold Developer certification for MISys Manufacturing v5.0 in July, recognizing our ongoing commitment to provide Sage ERP Accpac with an integrated, manufacturing solution.”

In announcing the selection of MISys as the Endorsed/OEM Partner of the Year for Sage Peachtree, Vasu Desikachary, Director of Business Development for Sage Business Solutions wrote “Sage recognizes the important role played by our development partners in delivering an extraordinary customer experience.” The award recognizes the top strategic Development partner for Peachtree based on input from Sales, Product Management, Development and Support at Peachtree. “You are the first year winner of this award!” he wrote.

MISys was recognized at the Sage Summit conference held in National Harbor, MD on July 11, 2011 during a luncheon attended by 1,500 business partners and Sage employees. “It is very gratifying for MISys, a small company in Woodstock, VT to be able to compete on a global stage,” said Brown. “We’ve been at this a long time, and we look forward to continued success with Sage.”
