MISys SBM defines a work center as an area of your plant where a specific activity takes place. The Shop Floor Control module allows you to define 1) how fast a work center can perform its work, 2) when the work center of open for business, and 3) the material, labor, and overhead resources needed to run the work center.
Once work centers are defined, they can be applied to bills of material and manufacturing orders as routing details. The routing details document the steps that must be performed in the production process. Shop Operations Management
By posting actual time and materials used in selected shop operations during the production process, MISys SBM can deliver more accurate actual costs than every before possible.
