MISys Manufacturing System v5.6A Service Pack Information

This Service Pack corrects the following problems:

Fixed in Service Pack 1 (6/22/10):

1.   Fixed problem where any build with auto-build enabled would
     be terminated if it encountered an out of date BOM for a
     sub-assembly.

     The build would consume only the components encountered
     prior to the Sub-assembly.

2.   Fixed problem with data migration from 5.5A.

3.   Fixed problem with migrating an empty MISys SLT 5.5A
     database.

4.   Fixed problem where any Stock Transfers on systems without
     an SLT license would report the folowing error: "Invalid
     procedure. The Serial/Lot Tracking component has not been
     activated."

5.   Made multiple changes to counter the SM5.6A issue with MS
     SQL databases not allowing the creation of various MISys
     work tables.

6.   Fixed problem with pre-assigning SL Numbers for a
     Dispense/Return Reserve direct stock transfer.

7.   Fixed problem with Direct Transfer SL Number pre-Assignment
     form asking to Save assignments when user clicks the New
     button.

8.   Fixed problem with Master Schedule Auto-Jit all items not
     utilizing the item minimum and reorder levels for
     alternative locations.

9.   Modified Puchasing | Purchase Orders as follows:

          Fixed problem where the detail form was showing the
          conversion factor rounded down to the nearest whole
          number.

          Fixed problem in PO Invoicing where the Document Number
          was not recorded in the MISys master log when entered
          after the invoice quantity and amounts.

          Fixed problem where PO detail optional fields were not
          being auto-inserted for subsequent details after the
          first.

          Modified the PO detail tab sequence to include the
          Optional Fields column.

10.  Modified Master Files | Bill of Materials as follows:

          Modified BOM copy to no longer do a partial copy of a
          BOM with an inactive item.

          Fixed problem where BOM Material and Routing detail
          optional fields were not being auto-inserted for
          subsequent details after the first.

          Modified the material and route detail tabs sequence to
          include the Optional Fields column.

11.  Modified Production | Manufacturing Orders as follows:

          Fixed problem where MO Material and Routing detail
          optional fields were not being auto-inserted for
          subsequent details after the first.

          Modified the material and route detail tabs sequence to
          include the Optional Fields column.

12.  Corrected rounding error that occurred in some Sales
     Transfers for example: 17.144 became 17.139.

13.  Modified MO Material Status report (MI639018) so that it no
     longer displays closed MOs.

Fixed in Service Pack 2 (2/28/11):

1.   Fixed problem where any Sales Transfers of SL Tracked items
     that were done in an earlier version could not be assigned.

2.   Fixed problem where any Sales Transfers of SL Tracked items
     with multiple SL Number assignments could fail with a
     costing error.

3.   Modified Master Files | Items to allow users with only
     Inquiry Security rights to scroll Cost tab grids.

4.   Modified Transfer Stock | Edit Batch to fix the following
     problems:

          Prevent the error: "Internal Error. Transfer Batch
          Detail Operation not allowed." when adding a new batch
          entry via the F9 detail form.

          Fix Import batch getting error and not importing the SL
          numbers properly.

5.   Modified Purchasing | Purchase Orders to fix problem with
     copying a PO when there is a required optional field for PO
     details.

6.   Fixed problem in Setup | Options where changing the cost
     method and electing to update the item cost could cause
     corruption of the item cost of any assembled items whose
     current BOM had routing.
